  1. Refined Sugars –
    are a deadly menace to your body. In order to digest sugar through your body, sugar destroys your body’s precious minerals, vitamins and nutrients from your body. Refined sugar is used in sodas, cookies, cakes, most can goods, breakfast cereals, sauces, the list of products is vast… Todays research suggest that refined sugar is credited with feeding cancer cells and that refined sugar might actually also cause cancer.
  2. Processed Meats –
    The World Health Organization announced that process meats are a carcinogen (i.e. they can cause cancer).
    Meats that are apart of this category are packaged meats that have been treated in order to preserve their shelf life and are not sold fresh. This list includes baloney, ham, turkey, hot dogs, some deli meats, bacon, and sausage meats. It was recently reported that bacon increases your risk in get rectal cancer by 80%.
  3. Red Meat –
    The World Health Organization studies have found a link between eating red meat and three types of cancers in humans: 1. Colorectal, 2. Prostate, 3. Pancreatic.

    Potatoes have the chemical acrylamide, that becomes volatile with high temperature cooking. The National Toxicology Program and the International Agency for Research on Cancer consider potatoes chips to be a “probable human carcinogen.”
  7. Farmed Fish –
    Farmed fish are treated with antibiotics and pesticides which are know to be cancerous. The fish especially Salmon are raised in overcrowded conditions, which leads to unsanitary/health issues. The also are feed chemicals to ensure that their color reddish for marketing purposes.
  8. Canned Foods –
    The linings of most cans are treated with a chemical called bisphenol-A or BPA. BPA is Toxic. BPA has been linked to heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Glass jar lids are made of metal and also may have BPA.
  9. Hydrogenated Oil –
    Hydrogenated Oil used to preserve the shelf life of processed foods. Hydrogenated oil is a liquid oil which is chemically processed into a solid oil or grease. This type of oil/fat can alter the structural integrity of the human cell membrane which can cause various health issues, as well as cancer.
  10. White Flour –
    is refined, which takes away any health or nutritional benefit, then bleached with chlorine gas. White flour is high on the glycemic index and is linked to a 220% increase in breast cancer among women.
  11.  Alcohol –
    Since, 1988 the World Health Organization has listed alcohol as a carcinogen. Drinking to alcohol can lead to liver poisoning or liver cancer, however drinking to much alcohol or being a heavy drinker, research found that mouth, throat, breast and bowel are susceptible to developing cancer.
  12. Pickles –
    A Team of doctors discovered that gastric cancer patients ate more pickles than cancer free patients. The high amounts of sodium have been linked to stomach cancer.
  13. Genetically Modified Organisms or GMOs –
    Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) are living organisms that have had their genetic material artificially manipulated to deliver a benefit.
